Hey y'all! These weeks are just zipping past and it's super rude because that means my mission is going faster than I want it to!!! But it was another wonderful week! So on Tuesday we had our last zone conference with President and Sister Brown. It was amazing; the best zone conference of my mission so far. They are just so incredible. I love the Browns and their dedication and love they have for the Lord, the FOCO mission, and us missionaries. They are so inspired and care so much for this work. I am so sad that they only have two weeks left! But I am also super excited for President and Sister McMurray to get to the mission! I know they will be awesome! Okay I almost died this week!!! We were at this recent convert's house, and they had cooked us some super good Chinese food and so I was just sitting there, enjoying my food, talking to this family about how the manager of their apartment complex hates us because she thinks we are "soliciting Jesus" and that she yells at us every time we are at that complex. The dad was like, "What!? Soliciting!? Oh I'm gonna go tell her off!" His wife goes, "riiiiggggghhhtttt... What are you even going to say to her?" And he says, "Back off of my sisters!" Well I just started laughing SO hard that a piece of meat I just ate went down the wrong pipe so I was choking and laughing and wheezing and essentially I was just a hot mess. Everyone was very concerned, I was very red. And it was just very awkward. But I'm alive so all is well! We met with one of our investigators who just got back in town this week! His name is Gil and he is such a sweet man! He loves God so much and loves talking about the word of God with everyone around him. Gil is set to be baptized on the 2nd of July and we are so excited for him. He came to church yesterday and had a really good time. We hope he can make his baptismal date. He has a lot of work to do, but we think he can get there! We had some really powerful lessons with Jason and Stephanie this week. Every time we meet with them, my love for them just grows stronger! They are truly some of the most caring and loving people I've ever met. Last night we talked a lot about how much God loves us, that He is so mindful of us and is has a perfect plan for each one of us. Our lessons with them are always so spiritual. I am so grateful for Hermana Tanner because I could not do this without her. There have been so many times and so many lessons where I just know it was meant to be that we had to be together. We have so much fun together and just love to do missionary work. She is such a blessing in my life! On Saturday, we were out contacting for a couple of hours and just pretty much dying it was so hot. We walked past this yard sale and this lady called us over and asked if we wanted some lemonade. We said yes and started talking about their life and the gospel and all sorts of stuff. At the end of the conversation, we invited them to meet with missionaries again and they said yes which was awesome! We had to refer them to some other missionaries though because they aren't in our area, but that's okay! They are such sweet people and we are excited to see what happens! I am just loving every minute of mission life and it's going by way too fast! I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I am so grateful for His sacrifice and atonement. The atonement can help every single one of us no matter what struggles and trials we might go through. Don't ever forget to turn to Him and ask for help. I love you all and hope you're all doing well!! Love, Sister Hooper Colorado sunsets! We built a little temple out of Legos! Also, I don't have scrapes on my knees, I was kneeling down for a long time Saturday when we were dying. When your arms are super tan, and legs are super white

Hey y'all!! It has been such a crazy week here in Loveland!!! First off, I want to thank everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday! That was so sweet of everyone! My Spanish is coming along... And by that I mean I still have no clue what's happening, but I am trying! This week, we had our first two exchanges of the transfer! So am exchange is when we switch companions for a day. Since Hermana Tanner and I are STL's, we exchange with each of the 5 sets of sisters we are over once a transfer. This week I got to go down to Berthoud, CO with Sister Kimball and then I went to Fort Collins with Sister Hoffman. I love these two sisters soooo much! They are so awesome! So I was super excited to go to Berthoud because my trainer, Sister Jenks, served there for the first 6 months of her mission. So I got to go and see what it was like and meet some of the people she told me about! It was so much fun! Tuesday night, we were running from appointment to appointment and it was just so nuts! Sister Kimball and I had a blast together. She is just so much fun and such a hard worker and an amazing missionary! I learned so much from her on this exchange! Then I spent my birthday with sister kimball in Berthoud as well and it was so fun. To be honest... I kind of forgot it was my birthday and I was totally fine with it. I spent the whole day doing missionary work and just focusing on others. I really couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday. Then on Thursday I was up in Fort Collins with Sister Hoffman. She is also so fun and we just couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It was like 95-96 degrees on Thursday and we spent the whole day tracting, which means we were walking from house to house, seeing if people would be interested in learning more. Basically we were so hot and sweaty and thought we were going to die. But we survived! We tracted the whole morning on Friday as well. Seriously exhausting! But we ate at this amazing restaurant called Tom + Chee where they specialize in grilled cheese sandwiches. Oh it was heaven. And they make dessert ones on donuts! So of course I got one and it was s'more flavored! Best thing of my life!!! This week we had a zone meeting and Hermnana T and I were asked to give a training at zone meeting. It went pretty good we think! It was all about the Fort Collins Temple that is being built here and how we can teach people about the temple! Yesterday church was crazy! Jason and Stephanie came to church so that was so amazing! A less active sister also came back to church and brought her grandson, Derek, with her. So Derek has never been to church, he's 2, and was pretty rowdy. But he basically attached himself to me and started calling me mom and climbing all over me. When that happened I had to keep putting him back in his seat because missionaries can't hold kids. I know it breaks my heart too. I was asked to give the closing prayer in sacrament meeting, so when I got up to say the prayer, Derek ran up after me and started screaming and crying when I got too far away from him. So now I am a mother. Future husband, if you're reading this, hope you're okay with that! Lol. Just kidding. Sort of. Anyways.... I hope you all had an amazing week! I am loving it here in Loveland!!! Remember to always say your prayers and read the word of God! That will bless your life soooo much! I miss and love you all!!! Hermana Hooper Oh!!! And my new address is: 2915 Challenger Point Dr Loveland, Colorado 80538 Loveland Zone Us and the Berthoud sisters: Sister Kimball and Sister Robinson My s'more grilled donut Super sweet rainbow after it rained yesterday
Hola amigos! Well first week done here is Loveland, CO! My new companion is Hermana Tanner and she is AMAZING! Like holy cow I could not have asked for a better companion. We just get along so great. I swear we are pretty much the same person. Being a missionary is so fun with her and I am so grateful that the Lord and President Brown put us together!! The sad thing is that she goes home at the end of this transfer and so I won't get to be her comp anymore after this!! But I am grateful we get to be together for this transfer! So here is what is happening with me. I am now serving as a Sister Training Leader which means Hermana Tanner and I are over a group of 5 sisters and we go on exchanges with them and just try to help them with their missionary work the best we can. I am also now learning Spanish because I have been put in a Spanish and English area and I don't know how long I will be here for! Hermana T speaks Spanish so she will help me and teach me! These last two weeks have been the longest weeks of my whole mission I think.... But not in a bad way. Just so much happened that it got really crazy! I was so sad to leave Wheatland. I loved it up there soooooo much. I met some incredible people who just welcomed me and loved me into the ward. I am going to miss them so much!! And I miss Sister L like crazy. I am very jealous she gets to stay! But Loveland has really been amazing so far. We got a bunch of new investigators this week and taught this awesome couple, Jason and Stephanie. The first night we met them we totally hit it off! They are so fun and we get along super great. We are hopefully gonna get them married and baptized because they know this Gospel is true! The Lord will provide a way! It's also been amazing getting to go to lessons in Spanish. I have such a strong love for the Hispanic people here. They are so kind and understanding of my lack of Spanish and try their hardest to speak English to me! I am so ready to learn the language and be able to communicate with them! I understand what they are saying for the most part, but I have no clue what to say back or how to say it! The Lord will help me though and I will get it in no time! So I just want to make everyone jealous because last night a Hispanic family here had is over for dinner and made us carne asada and tortillas and it was amazing and I absolutely stuffed myself. So you can all be jealous of the amazing food I am eating. This week we went to Mission Leadership Council (MLC's) which is where all of the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders get together to figure out how we can best help the mission. It was amazing and so spiritual. It was the coolest experience to be in a room with such incredible missionaries. I learned so much for them and they just are the greatest example to me. It was my first and last MLC with President and Sister Brown because our new President, President and Sister McMurray, will be coming into the mission at the beginning of next month. I am so sad that President and Sister Brown are leaving. They are just so incredible and I am grateful for all they have done for me. I am the happiest right now that I have been my whole mission. I just feel so close to the Lord and know that He has everything in His hands. I know that the Lord knows exactly what He is doing not only in my life, but I'm everyone's lives. When we give our lives over to Him, He can make so much more out of them than we ever could. I love you all and miss you so much! Thank you for all of the love and support! Have and amazing week! Love, Hermana Hooper Pictures from last Monday up at Ft Laramie, the Oregon Trail Ruts, and Guernsey State Park Elder Agguire, Elder Clemence, and Sister Conger. We all came out of the MTC together. The Zone Leaders, STLs, AP's, and President and Sister Brown at MLC's Elder Shepherd and Elder Coleman my favorite elders ever. We served in Laramie together and reunited at MLC's and took this awesome awkward picture. My momma sent me this awesome hump day package because I hit my 9 month mark! Hermana Tanner and I at the Fort Collins Temple
Hey y'all! So this week was a pretty long week for us! But we made it through and came out alive! This week I'm gonna have to keep it short because Sister L and I are heading up to the Oregon Trail Ruts, Register Cliff, and Ft. Laramie. I will send pictures next week!! So we found out transfer information! I am now serving as an STL in a Spanish/English ward down in Loveland, Colorado! I am super shocked and slightly nervous, not gonna lie. But I am way excited for this new adventure!!! Howard's baptism was AMAZING! The spirit was so strong and wonderful and we just had an amazing time!! He is such an awesome guy and I am so blessed to have gotten to know and teach him. Sorry it's so short this week! We've gotta get to Guernsey! I love and miss you all!!! Sister Hooper Our Elders Quorum president made us a bunch of ballon creatures Howard and Brother Smith who baptized him! When it's really windy and your hair gets tangly and your brush gets stuck. Grady and I Diana and I. She came out to teach with us all of the time! This is Jay who reminded me soooo much of my little brother. I love this kid! One of my favorite people from Laramie, Leah, was driving through
and stopped to see me! It was awesome!! Hey y'all! This week was not quite as eventful as our past weeks have been, but it still included a trip to the hospital so I guess that merits it to be pretty exciting. Our week included lots of tracting (which means rude people), lots of driving (which means lots of talking to sister L, and lots service (which means we were super happy). The Elders from our district came up to Wheatland this week for our district meeting which was nice because it meant we didn't have to drive down and back to Cheyenne. The Elders were amazed at how small our church is here. Our chapel has like 8-10 rows and all of the rooms are tiny, so that's an adventure every Sunday. We had a great district meeting all about finding new people, which was perfect for us because we have had to stop seeing a lot of people we had been teaching. It got us super pumped up to go and find new people though! The only problem is that Wheatland isn't a huge fan of Mormons, so when we tract, we get a lot of very firm no's. But that's okay! One more positive encounter with Mormons! This week we saw Hippie Mike again, and it will most likely be the last time. This was probably the most entertaining lesson I've ever been apart of. So we walk into his yard and he has a table and chairs set up outside to do the lesson. We did the lesson outside which was amazing because it was so sunny and warm! In the background he had a classic rock station playing, which was bomb. He politely turned it down, but wouldn't turn it off during the lesson, so while I was teaching about the importance of reading the Book of Mormon, Van Halen was teaching us that we needed to "Jump"! When Sister L was teaching about the role of the Holy Ghost in confirming the truth of the gospel, Bon Jovi was teaching us that we all need to be "livin' on a prayer". I thought that was pretty funny. And of course a lot more songs came on, but you get the gist. Anyways, Hippie Mike is a rock collector and he had recently found a bunch of cool new rocks to show us, so he was super pumped about that. This lesson went a lot smoother than the last one did. I didn't get fired up and he didn't ask and say rude things. He still doesn't quite get how we know words are true, but we just testified of the power of the Holy Ghost in confirming the things written in the Book of Mormon are true. He will receive his witness when his heart is open and ready. But we found out that Mike is going to take a break from the lessons this summer because he is going on a personal journey within himself and doesn't want to be a danger to us. I am very grateful for his thoughtfulness for our safety. He does want to pick back up on the lessons in the fall though so we will have to see where that goes! Howard is still doing amazing! He is still on date to be baptized this Saturday which we are pumped about! And he is super pumped about it too! On Saturday we went over to Howard's with our friend Diana, she goes to a lot of Howard's lessons with us, and we weeded his garden. Howard only has one leg, so that makes is slightly difficult to keep up with a yard. It was sooooooo much fun to be there and do service for him! We spent two hours in the grass and dirt trying to get rid of all the weeds and barely made a dent. We got to sit outside and talk with Howard and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was just such an awesome time. Oh!!! And we discovered that Howard is an incredible artist! He makes Spurs and bits and when I say they are beautiful works of art, it's an understatement. I'm going to get pictures of them this week so you can see how incredible they are!!! We were seriously amazed when we saw them. Today we took a tour of the power plant here. So it's like a major power plant and its massive and we got to go see all of the cool science-y stuff that I don't understand! We were on the roof of the plant which is 14 stories up!! It was awesome!! We couldn't take pictures inside so sorry about that... This week we have put a huge focus on looking in our lives and seeing how many blessings we receive from our Heavenly Father each and every day. A lot of times without us realizing, we put up umbrellas and block the blessings that come from our Heavenly Father. He is constantly showering us with blessings and we can choose each and every day how much we allow blessings to come in our lives. My invitation to you all is to look at your lives and think about what might be blocking those blessings. I know that by putting down our spiritual umberellas, we will feel our Heavenly Fathers love more strongly, and see how much he is blessing us each day. I love and miss you all! I hope you are doing well! Thank you for all of the love and support you give me! Love, Sister Hooper At the Power Plant We had coal dust on us when we left I was having a bad hair day, so the lady we live with did my hair for me The pouty face I perfected on Howard This is Grady. We both have weird hitch-hikers thumbs.
Hey Y'all! This week just flew by! I had to ask Sister Ligon what happened this week because I seriously don't remember! So on Wednesday we went down to Cheyenne for interviews with President and Zone meeting. It was so great! I had an awesome interview with President Brown. It was actually my last interview with him which makes me so sad! He is finishing up his mission next transfer and I don't want him to leave! I am so excited to meet our new president though. I know President McMurray is going to be awesome! At zone meeting the most exciting thing ever happened.... WE GOT PAMPHLETS FOR LESSON 5! This is a super big deal because lesson 5 is kind of tricky to teach because there is just so much we cover!! These pamphlets really help us to know what to focus on and explain things so much better than I can! Sister Ligon and I have been freaking out about them haha! Only missionaries would get excited about this sort of thing... We had to move Kansas' date back to June 4th because she has got some pretty tricky stuff going on in her life right now. She needs just a little more time to prepare and get to a good spot. Howard is still doing so awesome!! He is still good to be baptized on May 28th and we are so excited for him. In our lesson with him this week, he totally lectured me! So he found out on Mother's Day that I had hurt my knee pretty bad when I played volleyball back in high school. Howard lost his leg a while back because he didn't get a knee replacement soon enough and then he got bacteria in his leg that was doing some pretty bad damage, so they had to amputate. Well Howard is very kind and doesn't want this to happen to me, so he proceeded to give me a lesson on how to put on a prosthetic leg and all of the hard things that come with it. He told me he was doing it because he cares about me and doesn't want me to be in the same situation. It was really pretty humorous how he did it too! He took his pant leg and kept swatting it at me to emphasize his points! Howard is just so sweet!! So to address the title of my email. We were visiting a family this week and they have this MASSIVE dog that thinks it's a lap dog. Whenever we go over there Tank, massive dog, jumps all over us and just slobbers all over us. I love dogs so I don't mind, but the family is always so embarrassed about him jumping over everyone! Well the father of the family has a super cool conversion story that includes President Hinckey, a former Prophet of the Church, sending him the entire collection of the Journals of Discourse from the Church. Basically they are books with a lot of really cool info and doctrine. So Tank was just being his usual self this week and the dad yells at Tank and says, "Tank if you don't knock it off right now I am going to smack you behind with a Journal of Discourse!" Tank immediately stopped and ran away. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe because it was just the funniest thing I had ever heard. We also helped "Vanna White" some things in an auction this week which was really fun. We were doing it for a senior program here to raise money so that they can keep their center open. It's called the Senior Outreach Program, and basically all of the old people in Wheatland go there and hang out and talk and play card games. They take fun trips and stuff so we go volunteer and help them with their events and stuff. It's so fun!! I love serving the Lord and getting to share this message with others! I've been thinking a lot about the sacrament this week and how special it is. Each week we get the opportunity to renew our covenants with our Heavenly Father. I was thinking about the words "to the souls of all who partake of it" that is in the sacrament prayer. The sacrament, just like the atonement, is for each and every one of us. Our choosing to or not to partake of the sacrament and the atonement effects us and our spiritual strength. The Savior suffered and died for each one of us, but that doesn't mean we have to use it. But by not using it, we suffer and separate ourselves from Him and our Heavenly Father. I am grateful for our Savior and what He did for us. This coming week I would challenge each of you to think of what the Savior has done for you and what it means to you that you can partake of the sacrament. I love you all and miss you so much!! Sister Hooper Storm rolling in Shadow being all cute (sorry I take way too many pictures of the dogs) A FAMILY WE TEACH HAS A BOXER NAMED DAISY AND I HAVE A BOXER NAMED DAISY!!! New pamphlets! Me wearing a gas mask
Hey Y'all!! Happy belated Mother's Day! I hope it was so great for all of you mommas out there! Thank you all for everything you've done and all you do for me. I LOVE YOU! So this week we got pounded with rain which is a big deal here because they never get rain. The whole town of Wheatland is buzzing about it because it's the biggest thing that's happened since they opened the Maverick. But the rain has made it so the already present smell of manure is about 12 times stronger. I thought it was bad growing up in front of a field of cows... Nope. This is worse. This week was pretty crazy actually. A lot of the really crazy things that happened I can't actually talk about. But Sister Ligon and I made it through and we are ready to start a new week! This last week we went on exchanges and I stayed here with the lovely Sister Thompson! She was actually trained in Wheatland and was here for 6 months, so it was fun for her to come back. We had an awesome day and taught 6 lessons which was nuts! She is just so fantastic. I loved getting to be with her and get to know her. We are super similar and have a ton in common so that was fun to get to talk with her. She is also such an incredible missionary. I learned so much from her!! We had an amazing lesson with Howard this week and he is still doing super great! He came to church yesterday and he loved it. Speaking of yesterday... Well Sister Ligon and I had such a crazy day. We spoke in sacrament meeting, taught Sunday School, and then taught Relief Society. I felt so bad because the ward had to listen to us all day!!! But then we got to talk to our families and it was so great!!! This week I just wanted to share how much service has blessed my life. Our lesson in Sunday school was all about service, and I realized how truly happy it makes me. When we give our lives to the Savior and try to help others and do what He would do, we experience His love for them. I love getting to spend every day serving my Savior and the people in Wheatland. I love you all and miss you all! I hope you have an amazing week! Love, Sister Hooper Sister Thompson The cow looked like it was walking on water When you're absolutely exhausted at the end of the day The long road to Guernsey, WY Random tank in Guernsey Sister L and I yesterday
Hey y'all! Another full, crazy, weird, but super great week in Wheatland! We saw so many miracles and had so many weird things happen. So the first crazy thing is that we woke up Tuesday morning to a blizzard. But hey what else is new. We get random blizzards all the time here in Wyoming. We had an appointment that day with an investigator named Mike. So Mike is an interesting character. He is a total hippie. He believes in aliens and just about every conspiracy theory known to man. He's been reading the Book of Mormon a ton, and so the sisters have been working with him for a while. Well our lesson on Tuesday was one for the books. It started off good, he had a lot of questions about the readings we left him, and we were able to address and answer those. He kept telling us that the passage was about UFO's and aliens though, which got old really fast. Then he took the conversation in a direction I did not like. We were talking about prophets and how they are the mouthpiece of God for us today and that when we listen to what they tell us, we are following the path God wants us to be on. Mike immediately started comparing that to terrorist groups and making extremely rude comments about prophets and our beliefs. Well I sure as heck was not going to let him feel justified in those comments, so I got pretty ticked off and let him have it a little bit. I know right now my parents and other people that are close to me are cringing reading this. I just was not about to sit there and let this man say the things he was saying. So I got a little fired up. We set up a return appointment, but it's three weeks away. That way we can all calm down a little bit haha. But in really exciting awesome news, we set another investigator on date for baptism! His name is Howard, he is 62 years old, and he is the most awesome guy ever. We had our first official lesson with him on Saturday and when we invited him to be baptized, he kept saying yes over and over again because he was so excited! He's almost done with the Book of Mormon and loves every page of it. He is going to be baptized May 28th. This means that we will be having baptisms two weekends in a row! Kansas on the 21st and Howard on the 28th! There are so many amazing things happening in Wheatland right now. I feel so blessed to get to be a part of it! Sorry but I am going to talk about Howard some more. He told us he has felt lost his whole life, but he finally has found what has been missing. He told Sister Ligon and I at church yesterday that he is just so grateful for us coming to church with him and helping him on this journey. Well I just about died because that is the sweetest thing I have ever heard! Haha I just love this man. He has become like a grandpa to me and I am so extremely grateful for the opportunity I have to know him. I know this isn't a super exciting email this week, but I am only talking about these two experiences for a reason. I learned some really important lessons this week, the first being that Satan has more of an influence than I realize sometimes. He does so much evil and harm and if we let him, he will cause harm in our lives. But the second lesson I learned is that our Savior and Heavenly Father have so much more control. They are going to win in the end. We need to pick what side we are going to be on. We need to turn to the Savior and allow Him into our lives, so that He can help us and change us to what we need to become. A scripture I LOVE is 2 Timothy 2:3. "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." We are all soldiers of Jesus Christ. We are going to go through hard times and opposition, but it is for the Savior, and He will bless us and sustain us. I hope you all have such an amazing week! I miss you all and love you so so so much!!! Love, Sister Hooper *Just going to preface by saying I am sorry but I take way to many pictures of the dogs we live with because they are so cute!!* We get fresh eggs every week and sometimes they're green! Shadow I got to wear jeans and clearly I was very happy about it Red Bull asleep in sister Ligons bed That sad moment when you see Laramie and you're actually in Guernsey, WY (it's smaller than Wheatland) Landmarks in Wheatland! They all wanted the apple I was eating
Hey Y'all!! Well week one is done in the land of wheat!! It has been one crazy adventure here in Wheatland but it has been so stinking fantastic!!! Wheatland is by far the most interesting place I have been in my entire life. It is the middle of nowhere Wyoming and is your stereotypical small town. There is nothing here. But that's okay, because Sister LIgon and I are having a blast! This week we saw SO MUCH success, which is largely due to the Lord and the amazing sisters that left the area for us. Those sister are amazing and had lessons set up for us and everything all organized so that it wasn't a mess when we came in. So some fun stuff from the week: - We live with this awesome couple and they have three dogs and I am obsessed with these dogs. They have become my best friends. So we didn't know one of the dog's names (we forgot and the sister we live with went out of town) and so we decided to call her Red bull because she has an INSANE amount of energy. She is now going by Red Bull. - We set an investigator named Kansas on date for May 21 which was just so incredible!! - We had three investigators at church yesterday and got one new investigator this week! - The ward is so small that I pretty much know everyone's names already. - Sister Ligon is awesome and we have so much fun together! - WE DRIVE A TRUCK :) - There are like a million confederate flags up in Wheatland for some weird reason. I feel like I am back home. Here are some fun stories from the week. I have already been set up twice by people in the ward here. The first one was at a dinner this week and the dad is like, "Hey, if you aren't writing anyone, we would love for you to marry our son. You'd be the perfect trophy wife." I just about died because it was so awkward and I had no clue how to handle the situation so I just laughed. And then at church yesterday, this elderly gentleman came up to me and goes, "My nephew is less active and we are going to go visit him this week. Keep in my that he is 6'2 and single!" His nephew is also 56 and a widower. I don't know what it is about this town, but it is something that's for sure. Our new investigator is named Howard and he is awesome. He's met with missionaries twice, but never had a formal lesson. He has already read almost the entire Book of Mormon and he loves it. He said that once he finishes it he is going to come to church and see if he likes it!! This week has shown me how in tune Heavenly Father is. I was/am so sad to leave Laramie. Like SO SAD, but I have also felt so good here. I know that the Lord is aware of each and every one of us and our needs. He loves us all so much and is going to be there regardless of what choices we make. We only need to let Him in and He will help us. I have gotten to take a bunch of pictures this week and I have loved every minute of it so I hope you all like them!! I miss you all like crazy!! I hope you're all doing well! Love, Sister Hooper Red Bull, who sleeps with me occasionally Fun clock cat in the kitchen Me in front of creepy abandoned warehouse Us and our truck Middle of nowhere Shadow, who also sleeps with me occasionally Sheila, she doesn't really sleep with me Super pretty blossoms Our investigator Mike's cool decorations Wheatland :) My face when they told me that Wheatland is in the Book of
World Records for having the most churches per capita. Bring. It. On. Hey y'all! I won't keep y'all I suspense any longer.... Sad day, I am leaving Laramie:( I am heading up to Wheatland, Wyoming and sweeping the area! Again! And guess who my new comp is... SISTER LIGON! WOOOOOOO! We are going to have an adventure that's for sure! I am so beyond sad to be going. I love it here so much! #letsgopokes I am leaving my dear Sister Meadows and all of my amazing friends here. It has been such a blessing to serve around these very special people. They have impacted my life in such a huge way. I love the institute and people here so much, I may or may not have considered coming back... But who knows! It has been the greatest blessing to serve here at the University of Wyoming with Sister Meadows, Elder Shepherd, and Elder Coleman. They have each made such a difference in my life. I am excited for the day when I get to hang out with all of them off of a mission! I wish you all had the opportunity to know them and know what incredible missionaries they are. Those three truly love the gospel and love getting to serve the Lord. I am so grateful for their example. This week has been absolutely incredible. We have had so many incredible experiences. Sarah is doing so fantastic. Every time I see her I continue to be amazed by her strength and willingness to serve the Lord. She is such an example to me of giving everything you have over to the Savior. We had the opportunity to have some really powerful lessons with some new investigators this week. We were able to talk about the importance of the Book of Mormon and the Holy Ghost and how they work together to testify of the truthfulness of this gospel. Y'all I love this gospel! I love that I get to spend 18 months of my life sharing this message with the people of Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska. I know that the Lord has established His true church on the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God, and that God still calls prophets to lead and guide us on the earth today. This gospel has made me happier than anything else on earth. It provides peace and hope and reassures me that God is in control, and that He has the perfect plan for each one of us. I would invite each of you to find what Gods plan is for you. He will help you. I love you all so much and I miss you like crazy! I hope you have an incredible week and I cannot wait to tell y'all about Wheatland next week!!!
