Hey y'all! It's been another wonderful week here in Loveland, Colorado! The week went by so quick! They all seem to go by really fast actually and it's really rude because the time is flying by!
So as I said last week, we went to the temple on Tuesday and it was amazing! I have missed being able to go to the House of the Lord and feel His spirit and love! That night we taught Brittany and Alex about the Ten Commandments and it was the best lesson we've had with them! They were so well behaved and understood everything and listened! It was a miracle!
On Wednesday, we went on exchanges with the Fossil Creek sisters and I got to be with Sister Meadows!! The was so much fun to be her companion again and see how far she's come and how much she's grown since the beginning of her mission! I am so proud of her and the incredible missionary she's become!
On Thursday we had a super awesome district meeting, and then went and helped a member paint after. It was a really great day and we we able to see and teach lots of awesome people. Right before dinner, we went to a members home to teach their friend about the temple and why they are important and why we have them. It was a great experience.
On Friday we went to MLC's! It was so so so good! We had some awesome trainings about being better leaders and how we can improve our mission. I was super pumped afterwards to go and do lots of awesome missionary work! And so we did! It was great! I got to see lots of my missionary friends at MLC's which is always so much fun! Friday night we had a lesson with Jason and Stephanie about the importance of going to church and making that effort, even if it's a sacrifice. They are still working towards their baptismal date and hopefully they will get there! Stephanie said the closing prayer for our lesson and it was so funny because she didn't want to at first, and then their roommate was
like, "Come on Steph! You can do it! You're like God's MVP! His Most Valuable Pray-er!" It was great.
Saturday morning we had a zone breakfast with our stake president. He gave this awesome training about Esther and how just as she had been prepared to save the Jews, we are prepared and placed where the Lord needs us. He has and is giving us opportunities to help Him and accomplish His purpose. I am grateful for the knowledge that our Heavenly Father loves us and has such an incredible and glorious plan for each one of us.
Sunday the coolest miracle happened! Sister P and I got the mission to do a fast for a hastening of the work. We were all fasting to see miracles happen and to find those who are prepared to learn about the gospel. Sunday morning we met Cindy. We got to church a little later than usual because sister p was sick yesterday morning. We got out of the car and I said hi to a lady I didn't recognize that was walking in at the same time we were. We got talking and she told us that she wasn't a member and didn't know if she was allowed to come into the church or not. We told her of course she was welcome and to come sit by us. Her sister is a member of the church and she's been wanting to go to a service for a while to see what it's like. We explained to her that today was fast and testimony day and that anyone has the opportunity to share their testimonies. She thought it was beautiful and loved it. She stayed for the rest of church and told us that she knows she needs to go here because this is what will help her progress. It was the most incredible miracle!!
I just love serving a mission! I is the greatest thing ever. It definitely has its challenges and difficult times, but it is all worth it because I've drawn so much closer to my Savior as I have depended
on Him to help me through!
I miss you all so much and I hope everything is going good!
We all came out of the MTC together and get to reunite at MLC's!
MLC group picture. Please ignore whatever weird thing my body is doing.
Disclaimer, all of the elders behind me had to stand on their tip toes.
They were all really angry at me for being tall. I told them to do more calf raises.
All of the STL's!
