Well it's only been a couple of days since I've last written, but so much has happened!!
On Friday, we had the wonderful opportunity to have a mission tour with Elder C. Scott Grow of the 70. That was so so so amazing! I learned so many incredible things and I gained a greater desire to be
more like my Savior and do as He would do. I was also given the opportunity to be one of 6 missionaries to have a personal interview with Elder Grow. That was so special because I was given some amazing counsel that means so much to me. I know that Lord knows His children individually. I know that the Lord has a plan for each one of us and that He will guide His children on the path that leads back to Him.
Saturday was the last day of the temple open house which I am so sad about!!! It has been so wonderful to get to serve at the open house these last 5 or so weeks. I have learned so much more about the temple, about how important it is, and the love that God has for us. I am so excited though for the temple to serve those in this area and all over the world. The blessings that are found in the temple are truly amazing!
Sister P and I had a bit of a panic moment when we realized that we aren't going to be companions forever! I love this girl so much and it is going to break my heart when we aren't companions anymore! She has been such a blessing in my life and I am so grateful to her!
This past week, we had Sister Thomas and Sister Larson come down from Casper to stay with us because of meetings and temple stuff. I love those sisters so much! They are so fun and so sweet! I also saw some people at the temple! I saw Rocio, who I taught up in Laramie. She was baptized just a couple of months ago which is such a wonderful thing to hear! I also saw one of my favorite families from Cheyenne, the Carpenters! BEST DAY EVER!
So just a few minutes ago, Sister P looked at the ground and goes, "Oh wow!" Well we seem to have a spider problem here in our basement so I figured we just had a massive spider on the ground, for the 1200th time. I looked and what did I see... A cricket!!! I'm not cricket expert, but I'm pretty sure you can't really just snatch a cricket in a tissue and squish it like you can with a spider, so we had to come
up with a different solution. That solution involved me running to the kitchen, grabbing a glass, and then attempting to set it over the cricket, then slide something under it and take it outside. Well right
as I was about to set the glass over it, it started jumping away! So Sister P and I used some unity, caught the cricket, and released it into the wild. It was quite the adventure!
Well it has been such a wonderful week and I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve the lord! I love you all and miss you so much!!!! Have a wonderful week!!
