So it's going to be short this week since Sister Tanner is being very rude and GOING BACK TO CANADA!!! She has been one of the greatest blessings of my mission! I am so grateful for her and everything she has done for me. she has taught me so much and has just been the greatest companion I could've asked for right now. She won't be able to get rid of me though because I'll just follow her around BYU-I after the mission and then go visit her in Canada since I've always wanted to go there! Score for me!
We found out our transfer information and I am staying here in Loveland which I am super excited about! And even more exciting, my new companion is Sister Patillo who I love so much! She is the sweetest sister and I think the world of her! It's going to be so much fun to be her companion! I am no long speaking Spanish... Which makes me really sad! But it was such an incredible experience and one I am so grateful for!
This week was crazy! We did a lot of tracting since Sister Tanner LOVES tracting and it was her last week as a missionary! So we did a lot of tracting in 100 degree weather. It kind of was the worst so I don't recommend it to anyone. To all of the missionaries serving in Arizona and the south, my hat goes off to you!!!
Gil seems to be doing so much better. He came to church yesterday and he gave me some lavender oil to help me sleep which was really nice of him! And Jason and Stephanie came back from vacation so we got to see them last night which was awesome!!
Since it's been so hot here, everyone is wearing the least amount of clothes possible. For example.... At dinner last night, one of the boys who is 12 was just laying in his underwear because it was too hot to put clothes on. He then joined us at the dinner table... In his underwear. I died laughing. Then every male over the age of 16 feels the need to walk around without a shirt on and I'm like, "Buddy!!! I am a missionary and you are being very distracting!!!" Sister Tanner thinks that unless they look like Thor or Captain America, they should have a shirt on. I don't think that would help with the distraction though....
Anyways, I hope you all are doing good!! I miss you all a lot and love you! I hope you have a fantastic week!!!
Love, Sister Hooper
