So I am really brain dead right now but I am going to try to make this email make sense in the shortest, quickest way possible!!
This week we went on two exchanges! I got to be with the lovely Hermana Snyder here in Loveland! She is just a blast. She is so happy and kind and just loves the work!! Her Spanish is perfect and so of course I was breaking a commandment and envying her skills! But she was so sweet to me and really helped me with my Spanish as well!!
The next day I got to go to a tiny town in eastern Colorado called Yuma! I was with another incredible sister, Hermana Jefferies. She is just a little angel here on earth! That girl is so sweet and kind and just fabulous! I had such a blast learning from her on exchanges!!
On Thursday, Sister Tanner and I finally reunited! We had only been together for 2 hours total the whole week up to that point so we were so pumped to get back to work as companions in Loveland!
Saturday we got to help out with a triathalon and now I am just super motivated to go and do one when I get home. These people were so awesome and I had a blast cheering them on!! I yelled out at this one point, "Keep it up!! You're fantastic!!" And this one guy who was running yelled back, "No YOU are fantastic!!" It was pretty great!! We were handing out water and Gatorade to runners as they came by, and this one guy grabs some Gatorade, drinks a tiny bit of it, then throws it over his shoulder, where it lands on me. Score.
We had some amazing lessons this week as well. Last night Sister Tanner and I contacted these people who thought they knew ALL about the church, so they sat there and preached at us what we believe. We put a stop to that stuff pretty quickly though and hopefully dispelled some of the rumors!
On Saturday something super cool happened! Sister Tanner and I got home and these people were sitting outside of our house. We were super confused and when we got out of the car, they were like, "Hey Sister Hooper!" I looked at them again because they looked sooo familiar. Well it was a couple from my home ward who's sister lives in Loveland and they stopped by because my sweet mother saw on Facebook they were in Fort Collins and told them to see me! It was way fun to have a surprise and see some familiar faces!
Also, Gil was supposed to be baptized this weekend, but we haven't finished teaching him all the lessons, so we are going to hold off until a little later so that he is fully ready!! The baptism should hopefully happen in the next couple of weeks though!!!
I miss you all soooo much and I hope everyone is doing good! I love you!!!
Love, Sister Hooper

When you are waiting for triathletes....
We walked two miles to and from our cars for lunch!
