This week was such a good week! I cannot wait for spring and summer let me tell you! It has been beautiful here lately and then today we had another random freak snow storm. Dumb. But that's okay. It will be consistently warm around July! They had a blizzard here last June...
Anyways I am loving mission life more than ever! This week sister Meadows and I exceeded all of our goals for the week by a lot! It has been such a blessing to see the success of our hard work. Sarah is still on date for the 26th and getting more and more excited every day. It is so great to get to teach her. We taught her about the commandments this week and at the end of the lesson we asked her if she would keep all of the commandments and her response was, "I already do!" Like I said. She's the bomb.
On Thursday this week we had another great day at our table in the union and had a ton of success!! There were a lot of people who came up to us who were genuinely interested in learning and hearing our message. That is such a blessing for us as we have been praying for new investigators. This week it will be a little tricky though since it is spring break and Laramie is now a ghost town. Sister Meadows and I decided that we are just going to walk all of Laramie this week and knock door after door because we know that not every single person is gone. That being said, next weeks update might not be as exciting. I will do my best however to have lots of adventures to write home about!
On Friday we had the opportunity to go down to Colorado for a training meeting and it was so awesome! The weather was just so beautiful and the meeting was so powerful and strong. President and Sister Brown gave us some amazing trainings that really helped us to determine how we can be better. After the meeting, we got to go by the Fort Collins temple which will be done in September and I am so excited!! It's going to be so amazing and I really hope I get the opportunity to serve at the open house.
Yesterday was different for us because instead of going to 10 hours of church, we only had 3! This is because they combined all of the meeting times since so many people are gone. It was so powerful though and I am just so grateful that I get to serve here in Laramie.
This week in our district meeting we talked about praying for miracles and expecting miracles. That requires so much faith, but it produces results. I know that as we pray and have faith, our Heavenly Father will always provide a way and a blessing. I love you and miss you all! I cannot wait to see y'all A YEAR FROM TODAY! So crazy! Have an amazing week!
